DISCLAIMER: This is more than a few breathing exercises, it’s a recalibration of your nervous system, a portal to deep insight, a potential gateway to altered states, a way to get beyond your negative narratives or conditioned ego responses and a path to awakening the body’s innate healing intelligence, all guided by your host, Breathwork Teacher and Kinesiologist, Erin Ricketts.
Erin has over 13 years of clinical experience as a Professional Kinesiologist helping people overcome their limitations and stress to live lives they’re wildly passionate about. Her breathwork sessions blend an integral dose of somatic (body bound emotion) processing and transcendental states that purely cognitive therapies overlook to give a more holistic basis to her work. Studies show breathwork can help resolve unprocessed emotions and trauma, resetting the nervous system when stress responses remain incomplete. Yet, this is just the beginning.
By engaging the breath, we suppress the Default Mode Network (self-referencing ego) and Prefrontal Cortex (narrative-making), allowing access to profound states of consciousness. These states studied by pioneers from Grof to McKenna can tap into something beyond the cognitive mind – a space where profound healing, connection, and inner wisdom emerge. Our breathwork journey may guide you to this place, enabling you to access and release buried memories, insights, and emotions locked within, under the guidance of an experienced holistic therapist.

ntroduction to Transformational Breathwork
Our skilled facilitator will guide you through the origins and science behind Transformational Breathwork, sharing its roots in ancient practices, optimising human performance and transpersonal psychology.
Group work and Intention Setting
We open by connecting and setting intentions to focus the mind, engage the heart, and establish a nurturing community container for the journey ahead.
Guided Breathwork Journey
Using special breathing techniques, we may access deep layers of the psyche and unlock non-ordinary states of awareness. This allows you to move beyond the habitual mind and one may encounter insights and feelings that can foster emotional release, non-ordinary states and cognitive clarity.
Integration and Sharing Circle
We close with a sharing circle to integrate and ground. Participants are welcomed to share insights and personal experiences. Integration helps the mind make sense of what has unfolded, may establish deeper connection and builds conscious community, empowering you to bring this newfound clarity into your life beyond sessions.
The Transformational Potential
This practice is designed to be a catalyst for holistic transformation, working on multiple levels to promote healing and awareness. Here’s what you may experience:
Somatic Emotional release: Emotions that have been stored in the body, sometimes for years ( or, potentially generations) are gently brought to the surface and released, allowing a sense of profound relief. They may be accompanied by conscious memories, or not.
Altered States of Consciousness or “Spiritual” experiences: In these states you may gain new perspectives on life’s challenges, revealing pathways for personal growth and transformation, fostering an enduring sense of connection, purpose, and peace.

Contraindications
While Breathwork is an incredible tool for healing, it is potent and is simply not suitable for everyone. Please avoid participation if you:
Are pregnant
Have cardiovascular disease or high blood pressure
Have epilepsy or a history of seizures
Have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Complex PTSD or other psychiatric conditions
Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Have recently undergone surgery or have injuries that may be aggravated by lying down or deep breathing
